Good Date Ideas – My Personal Story

Hey Cameron here,

If you’re looking for some good ideas for your next date, then I’m glad you found my website and I strongly encourage you to keep reading…

This is my totally uncensored dating story. Complete with the ups, downs, the things that didn’t work and finally the one thing that actually made dating more fun and changed my life forever.

In high school I didn’t date very much. I didn’t have a problem speaking with girls but when it came to taking them out and showing them a good time I was pretty lousy. The few dates I went on usually was going to a movie or a friend’s party.

It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out why I didn’t have girls banging down my door to go out right?

In college things improved a little bit as I got some advice from a couple of friends. But still I found it awkward and very difficult to find things to talk about. I really started to lose hope. I saw many of my friends in  relationships and enjoying one another but I could barely hold on to a girl for more than two dates.

I started to give up on dating for a while and decided to just get through that period of my life.

Then one day I started searching the Internet for suggestions. I thought maybe I need to take a different approach. I so picked up this eBook on how to become an alpha male. Within a few weeks I felt like I actually had something. I tried things out with this girl Angela and it looked like it was working. But after two more dates I was running out of things to do and it was difficult to talk to her. Deja vu all over.

I was so sick and tired of failing and this time it actually looked like things were changing… Yeah right!

A month or two after graduating my best friend Jon set me up with this girl and said we had a lot in common. I was reluctant at first but that first date was kind of nice. Fortunately for me she was a talker so I mostly listened.  On our next date I thought I should be prepared since she did all the talking.  I went out and bought a course online called “How to Make a Woman Laugh.”

At first things were great and I actually did make her laugh… but it seemed like she was just trying to be polite. We dated for 3 months and I began to start thinking seriously about Katherine. But as chance would have it, things started to go south. We were getting in a routine and my previous dating courses weren’t helping at all.

I was at the end of my rope and I didn’t want to lose Katherine at all.

Then one day my friend Jon said “You got to mix it up Cameron, you can’t keep doing the same things over and over.” That got me thinking… I needed a year supply or more of dating ideas if I wanted Katherine’s relationship with me to last.

And then I found it… the holy grail that saved my relationship. It has more good dating ideas than I had time for.

The book only cost me $27 and I didn’t tell Katherine at first… I just wanted to try some of the ideas out. To my surprise that very first date was amazing! Things really opened up for us. Each new date gave us new things to talk about and all the while we were growing in our relationship. Today we have been dating for almost 2 years and plan on getting married next April. If you are struggling like I was, then take a moment and check this book out.

Good First Date Ideas from My Friends Jet and Star

Hey guys! Here’s a great clip from my two good friends Jet and Star of TheWingGirls.com. They have a few great ideas for guys trying to break the ice. A lot of what Jet and Star talk about are in the book that changed my life, but more about that later. Here are some good ideas to help you next time you’re on a first date.

Comedy Show

Going to a comedy show with your date is great because it gives you two the opportunity to laugh. As we all know, laughing is very important in an early relationship. Additionally there is opportunity for some physical contact.

Movie and Dinner

The sequence is important here. The movie first because it gives the two of you something to talk about later. It can be challenging to come up with something to talk about sometimes. So go to the movie first and that’ll give you some common ground.

Bowling, Arcade, or Mini-Golf

Bowling, arcades, and mini-golf give the two of you a chance to flirt and have a little healthy competition. You may want to consider when you go to avoid mobs of people.

Walk Down Main Street

Another great tip where you too can grab a latte and walk down main street enjoying the night lights, music, and local shopping. This is a very inexpensive idea and usually a pretty good time for both of you.

Romantic Tips that will Spice Up Your Relationship

If your partner and you have been together a while it can be difficult sometimes to come up with new and creative ways to be romantic. Heck, you may even have a hard time if you’re just starting to date someone.  Good date ideas are important but the little things are just as important too. Here are a few romantic tips that should spice things up a bit.

The Masseur

Pick up a small gift bag or gift box along with tissue paper from Hallmark or some place similar. Next get some massage oil from Bath and Body Works,  or Bed Bath and Beyond, or anywhere they sell it. Then place the oil in the gift bag or box along with the tissue paper. On the outside attach a card that reads:

I know a great Masseur.
Call (Your Phone Number) for an appointment.

Good Night Tuck In

Draw a nice hot bath for your partner after she gets home when she’s had a long day. You need to have some bath oil on hand and add some to the tub. Then carefully bathe her from head to foot and gently dry her off when you’re done. Prior to all of this make sure you make the bed with fresh sheets. Then after the bath carry her to bed and tuck her in with a kiss on the forehead.

Take Care of the Pet

In the event that your spouse or partner has a pet that gets a lot of her attention, don’t for get it at Christmas. Make sure to buy a gift for her pet.

Hair Brush

Brush your partner’s hair right after their shower or before they get ready for bed. This is especially effective if they have long hair.

Miss You Email

If for some reason you’re staying home while your partner goes to work, be sure to say good bye before they leave and then immediately send an email that says “I miss you already.”

This way they’ll have a nice email waiting for them when she gets to work.

Childhood Gift

Ask your partner’s parents or family members if there was something special that she may have wanted when she was a kid.

She may have always wanted a porcelain doll or a doll house for example. Buy her whatever it was for her birthday and surprise her. Not only will she like it but will like the fact that you took time to find what she wanted.

Good Date Ideas – Top 5 Personal Favorites

If it’s Friday and you’re still trying to figure out what you’re doing tonight with your date, let me share with you a few good date ideas that are my personal favorites. Most of these work whether it’s your first date or even if you’ve been married 10 years.

#5 The Park

Take your partner to a public park and give her a ride on the swings.

More often than not, this fun little date will bring back happy childhood memories.

#4 Private Dance

You’re going to need your MP3 player for this one. Download a copy of you and your partner’s favorite song and go away on a romantic weekend.

Find a quiet spot that could potentially be romantic and ask her to dance. Each of you share an ear bud and enjoy a private dance together.

This creative date idea is more effective if you choose a location that wouldn’t normally be used for dancing, for example, the top of 30 Rockefeller Center at sunset or on top of a mountain while camping.

# 3 Walk on the Beach

Take your date to the beach and go for a walk. Wait for the sun to set and trace a large heart in the sand. Then sit together in the heart and enjoy the setting sun while the two of you cuddle.

#2 Surprise Picnic

Ask your date to go for a long walk. Fill a back pack with the following:  picnic blanket, small fruit like strawberries and grapes. Toss in some cheese and crackers along with some finger sandwiches. Depending on your taste you might even throw in a small container of caviar. Lastly add bottle of wine and a couple of plastic champagne glasses. If your date questions you just tell her you brought a light snack.

Find a romantic spot and stop for a quick bite. Then open your bag and everything out one at a time and setup the picnic. Be sure to save the wine and glasses for last.

#1 Mission Impossible

Get yourself a plain brown envelope and send an invitation to your girlfriend to go on a date.  Inside the envelop put  a cheap MP3 player with only one soundtrack. The MP3 should have the Mission Impossible sound track followed by a recording of yourself stating, “Your mission if you choose to accept it is to make your way to Ristorante’ Divino, 100 5th Ave. at 18.30 Pacific Standard Time.  You will find a handsome and extraordinarily attractive man wearing a pink carnation. The future and safety of all mankind rests with you. This recording will self destruct in 10 seconds.” Then record a pause for 10 seconds and finally, “My bad, I meant 20 seconds…” Its cheesy but it’s worth a few laughs!
